Op. Dr. Arzu Çabuk Dökmeci

I was born on 15.06.1969 in Izmir. I attended primary and secondary school in various schools in Bornova. I graduated from Izmir Girls High School. I entered Ege University Faculty of Medicine as the 66th in Turkey in the university exam and graduated in 1991. I did my compulsory service in Uğurlu village of Akçakoca district, which was then in Bolu province and now in Düzce province. Between 1992-1997, I received my gynecology and obstetrics specialty training at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

In 1998, I worked at Fethiye State Hospital for a short time. Then I came to Izmir again and worked at AÇSAP Center in Buca for 1 year and AÇSAP Center in Bornova for 1 year. I worked at Bornova State Hospital for 6 years between 2002-2007 and resigned.
I worked at Doruk Surgical Medical Center in Buca for 2 years between 2007-2009 and at Private Yedigün Medical Center for 2 years in 2010-2012. I worked at Private Egesante Medical Center for 1.5 years in 2018-2020.

In summary, I have been a medical doctor for 31 years and an Obstetrician and Gynecologist for 25 years.

I have been practicing for 25 years, my practice was in Bornova for more than 20 years. Since the beginning of 2020, I have been working in Bayraklı Mansuroğlu Neighborhood Lider Centrio

I am married, my husband Özgür is a family physician, we have a daughter, our daughter Nisan is a scholarship student at Koç University Chemistry Department, she has been a dancer for 12 years and an actress for 2 years.

In 1998, I had a severe Endometriosis surgery, then I had treatments for infertility, I had sepsis during treatment, I had IVF 4 times, I had Psoriasis, I had thyroiditis, and finally I was diagnosed with arthritis.

All these health problems led me to research alternative therapies. Thus, I started to receive energy therapy training since 2008, I received phytotherapy training in 2011, I received Functional Medicine training from Op.Dr. Mustafa Atasoy between 2019-2020. In January 2023, he received genital aesthetic surgery application training from Assoc. Dr. Ozan Doğan.

For 30 years, I have received many trainings on gynecological diseases. In the light of my own experiences and my experiences with my patients, with the alternative trainings I received, today, INFERTILITY, BIOHORMONE REPLACEMENT IN MENOPOZ, PREGNANCY AND BIRTH, GENITAL AESTHETICS AND APPLICATIONS are my special interest. I think this period is the most productive and mature period for me professionally.
